This Privacy Policy applies to the app My CNC DB (hereinafter referred to as "the App"). The protection of your personal data is important to us. Below, we inform you about what data is collected, how it is used, and what rights you have.

2. What Data Is Collected?

The App collects and processes the following data:

• CNC project data: Information you enter about CNC projects (e.g. machine name, part name, article number, drawing number, program number, customer, notes, dimensions).
• Photos: Images taken via the camera that are associated with CNC projects.
• Google account data: When optionally signing in with Google: name, email address, and profile picture as provided by Google.
• Settings: Your app settings (e.g. display options, dark mode, language selection, synchronization settings).

3. How Is Data Stored?

• Local storage: All CNC project data and images are stored exclusively locally on your device in a SQLite database. There is no external server to which data is automatically sent.
• Settings: App settings are stored locally in the browser or app storage (localStorage).
• Google Drive (optional): If you use the synchronization feature, your data is stored in the private app area of your Google Drive account (appDataFolder). This area is only visible to the App and is not accessible through the regular Google Drive interface. Data transfer is encrypted via HTTPS.

4. Purpose of Data Processing

• CNC project data and photos: Management and documentation of your CNC projects.
• Camera access: Taking photos for visual documentation of CNC projects.
• File access: Import and export of project data as JSON files.
• Google Sign-In: Authentication for optional cloud synchronization.
• Google Drive: Synchronization of your data across multiple devices.

5. Permissions

The App requires the following device permissions:

• Camera: To take photos for CNC projects.
• File storage: To import and export JSON project files.
• Internet: Exclusively for optional Google Sign-In and cloud synchronization via Google Drive.

6. Disclosure to Third Parties

Your data is not shared with, sold to, or used for advertising by third parties. The only external connection — with your explicit consent — is to Google services (Google Sign-In and Google Drive) for the synchronization feature.

7. Google Services

When you sign in with your Google account, Google's privacy policies also apply:

The App only accesses the following Google permissions:

• userinfo.email and userinfo.profile — to display your name and email address in the App.
• drive.appdata — to store synchronization data in the private app area of your Google Drive.

8. Data Security

• All data is stored locally on your device.
• Communication with Google services is conducted exclusively over encrypted HTTPS connections.
• Google Drive data is stored in the protected appDataFolder, which can only be read by this App.

9. Your Rights

You have the right at any time to:

• View all your data within the App.
• Completely delete all your data through the App's settings.
• Disconnect your Google account.
• Remove the App and all associated data from your device.
• Request information about your stored data (by email to the data controller).

10. Children's Data

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy as necessary. The current version is always available through the App or this page.

12. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus.
